Job Summary

Under the supervision of the IT Portfolio Lead Fusion (ERP), this position will support the technical objectives (i.e. of data cleansing, security and system integration, etc.) within the scope of the Fusion (ERP) project.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepares proposals and recommendations for management action.
  • Supports and implements computer based systems within the Corporation. Writes and modifies computer programs using the appropriate development and support tools.
  • Prepares test data to verify the accuracy and completeness of new and modified systems, jobs and programs.
  • Prepares and modifies system, job, program and operating documentation using industry best practices and Corporate standards.
  • Responds to, and resolves, system and production failures, as required.
  • Performs project roles as assigned.
  • Maintains current knowledge of IT trends, procedures and standards.
  • Conducts testing and provides training, advice and guidance to staff, as required.
  • Assists with the development of Technology policies, procedures and standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience Requirements

  • Degree in computer science plus four years' progressively responsible experience in Information Technology or successful completion of a recognized, two-year, post-secondary computer technology or business systems program plus six years' progressively responsible experience in Information Technology.
  • Production environment experience with SAP S/4 HANA, SuccessFactors, WorkForce, EnableNow, and SAP Analytics Cloud including but not limited to:
    • Application Customization (configuration, standard workflow/forms activations, role-based assignments and authorizations)
    • Application Enhancements (extensions, forms, workflows, apps, updates/uploads)
    • Application Integrations (interface automation, semi-automated extracts)
    • Data Migration (fully or semi-automated)
    • Analytics & Reporting (reporting, modelling, queries)
    • Platform Setup (printers, devices, drivers, network connectivity)
  • SAP GUI, ABAP Workbench, S/4 HANA Migration Cockpit, SAP WebIDE U15, SAP Cloud Platform Integration Services, Eclipse, SAP HANA Studio, SAP HANA Database, SAP Analysis for Office, 
  • IDoc, HTTP, JMS, LDAP, ODATA, RFC, SFTP, SOAP, SuccessFactors REST, SuccessFactors ODATA, JavaScript
  • Project Online and Microsoft Teams 
  • Software design patterns and data structures
  • GIT and Azure DevOps
  • Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence.
  • Current driver’s abstract from SGI demonstrating a safe driving record

 

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

  • Skill using Microsoft Windows and relational databases.
  • Skill using client/server and n-tier development tools and methodologies.
  • Considerable knowledge and skill in the operation and capabilities of computer architectures.
  • Knowledge of the principles and applications of data-processing documentation.
  • Knowledge and skill using project management tools and techniques, and the ability to participate in all project roles.
  • Knowledge of modern code management practices
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, including preparing and conducting presentations.
  • Demonstrated customer services skills, including the ability to deal effectively and tactfully with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to use MS SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Microsoft Office Suite, Visual Studio, C#, .Net, PowerShell, Microsoft PowerBI, Power Query
  • Demonstrated skill in critical thinking and problem-solving.

Acceptable current Criminal Record Check (CRC) upon offer of employment.

Additional Requirements

Evening work and call-backs may be required.

Weekly Hours: 36.67 

Salary Range: $79,244.64 to $82,999.92 CAD per annum (2023 rates. Negotiated increases of 3% for 2024, and 2.5% for 2025 will apply when applicable.)
