Utilities and Environment

The Utilities & Environment Division is responsible for managing and operating core services including electrical distribution within the City’s electrical franchise area; street lighting; water treatment and distribution; storm and sanitary sewage collection and treatment; solid waste collection and landfill; recycling services; compost handling sites; maintenance and operation of corporate facilities; and, providing environmental leadership both within the City and for the community.
